Palm Springs CA, my desert, always present in my thoughts with its sun and its scarce flowers but which are a work of art and the memories of a night that the artist slept in the shade sharing space with scorpions and lizards that moved buried in the sand under my sleeping bag. The sunrise in the desert is otherworldly, the dim light and the poor appreciation of colors and shapes in an instant becomes an explosion of life and color, earth and sky are reborn.
